Day Twenty-Nine- Your definition of beauty.
Inner beauty. That sounds so clichéd, but really… you could have the most amazing appearance and I wouldn’t find you beautiful if you weren’t a good, genuine person. Inner beauty isn’t all about one appealing trait that someone finds redeemable for all of your faults. It is about having quirks, happiness, sadness, human emotion, sympathy, compassion.
If you are beautiful on the inside, it will shine through on the outside. It will gleam in your eyes and appear in your smile. Good people are bursting at the seams with beauty.
Day Twenty-Seven- How do you deal with being around food? & Day Twenty-Eight- Do you want that “gap” between your legs? Why?
Day Twenty-Seven- How do you deal with being around food?
I don’t really have to deal with being around food. It is a normal thing and I have some self-control. I know what my intake for the day should be and I am aware how many calories are in other foods. Anyways, I always plan my day in food every night so that I’m prepared in the morning. Meh.
Day Twenty-Eight- Do you want that “gap” between your legs? Why?
It isn’t a necessity. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t.
Day Twenty-Five- Have you ever purged? If you have describe your first experience. & Day Twenty-Six- What excites you most about reaching your ugw?
Day Twenty-Five- Have you ever purged? If you have describe your first experience.
I have purged before. My first experience was really… natural. I’m not sure if that is the correct word to use, but it came very easily to me. I’d always had a bad gag reflex. So, one day I had binged and I felt guilty, I went to the bathroom proceeded to stick my finger down my throat and threw up. I never really did it constantly, just once and a while when I felt really shitty about what I had binged on.
Day Twenty-Six- What excites you most about reaching your ugw?
Everything excites me about it. Though, I don’t know what my UGW will be… just the idea of reaching a number where I am comfortable and healthy excites me. The health, the agility, the appearance, the clothes, the smile. It’ll just be grand!
Day Twenty-Four- How do you feel about the terms pro-ana/pro-mia
I don’t have any feelings about the terms, really. I feel pity for people who are pro-mia or ana because they are destroying their bodies from the inside out. They have a mental disorder and they need help. If you are willing to hurt your body so completely because you want to look good or want some control in your life, you need help. Go get some.
If you want to lose weight, it is as simple as eating 1200 calories of gloriously fresh and healthy foods, a dash of exercise and a hint of self-confidence and worth.
Day Twenty-Three- Did the media play a role in your wanting to lose weight?
In some ways, yes, the media did play a role in my wanting to lose weight. Not a very big role, but a role nonetheless. When I was younger I used to feel really disgusting compared to the Victoria Secret models or any thin girl on television/films. As I grew older, I realized that that was just the media. Not every girl looks like what you see in the media and a lot of it is photoshopped and the girl’s are picked over thousands of others simply because of their bodies, which usually means that there could be a lack of talent. Not that skinny girls aren’t talented, but when you chose material over substance the end product isn’t going to be as great. If that makes sense…
Then the weight loss shows showed me that I could do this if I really wanted to. That was kind of one of the things that led me to this journey. If they can do it, why can’t I? The answer: I can!
My mind is all jumbled tonight, so sorry if this makes NO sense.
Day Twenty-Two- What was your lowest weight? How and why did you gain?
My lowest adult bodied weight is the weight I am at right now, which is probably a little less than 290. I’ll find out tomorrow when I do WIW.
If I had to chose my lowest weight since I have been a teenager…. it would have been 275-280. I was trying to lose weight at that point in time, I was 13, and I went from 290 to 280-275. I don’t count this as a lowest weight, though. I was not fully grown then and it sort of feels like saying “Oh my lowest weight was 6 pounds 4 oz, like, when I was a baby.” Lol.
I don’t know. As I go along this journey, my lowest weight will probably always coincide with my current weight.
Day Twenty-One- What are your clothing sizes?
Seriously, I have no idea. I’m assuming it is a 2x (and not at a junior plus in a plus-plus). I do not plan on buying new clothes for another 4 months because I want a new wardrobe for London and I’d like things to actually fit and not hang off of me. My clothes now are hanging off of me, but… whatever! I can deal.
Though, I did however buy some junior plus 3x sizes in pre-London shopping motivation thing. They fit snuggly. Meh.
I’ll get there.
Day Twenty- Favorite diet?
I don’t have a favorite diet. Diets are mass produced fads that come and go on whims because none of them are effective in the long run.
The only thing that will work forever (for the rest of your life) is a good combination of a healthy and active lifestyle.
