Firstly, thank you! 

Secondly, my current work out schedule involves doing the 30 Day Shred everyday and doing at least 30 minutes of cardio a day. 

Some tips— experiment. The best way to find a workout that will be the most effective and enjoyable for you is to try a different methods. You could try different exercise machines (my favourites are the arch machine and elliptical), you could hike, jog, run! Find something that works and stick with it! 

Also, don’t be discouraged when you cannot immediately (this is metaphorical) run 5 miles. It takes time and your muscles and body will thank you for it if you work up your stamina slowly! Up your work out by 2-5 minutes every week until you reach your ultimate time goal!

Ha ha! No worries, love! I was waiting for someone to ask this question so I could file it in the FAQ section. Anyhow, I flip flop between counting calories and avoiding the thought of calories all together. 

I can tell you one thing, though— I have better success when I do count calories. I find that it keeps me in touch with the reality of how many calories are in certain things and the amount of calories that my body needs to function properly and whatnot. 

As for how many I eat— I always prefer not to say because it constantly changes due to my depleting body mass. However, I always— save for very hectic days (hey, we aren’t all perfect)— eat more than 1300.
